Nicolite® NL-SG (equivalent to SL-GSH, Nikko Chemical)

Silicone glass laminate with excellent high-frequency characteristics and arc resistance.

Silicone resin is excellent in heat resistance, cold resistance, non-flammability, water resistance, and electrical insulation, and is used as H-class insulating material (materials that withstand a maximum allowable temperature of 180°C). To take advantage of its characteristics, using glass cloth as a substrate minimizes changes in resistance values due to temperature and provides excellent electrical properties such as high-frequency characteristics and arc resistance. This case introduces Nikolite® NL-SG manufactured by Nikko Chemical Co., Ltd. It is a silicone glass laminate (equivalent to SL-GSH) with excellent heat resistance, arc resistance, tracking resistance, and high-frequency characteristics, and is UL-94V-0 certified. Its applications include "H-class insulating materials, heavy electrical equipment, terminal boards," and more. Myojo Electric provides one-stop solutions from material selection and procurement of thermosetting resins including glass epoxy and thermoplastic resins to various processing such as cutting, molding, polishing, bending, and bonding. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact us.

Silicone glass laminate

It can be used in parts that generate heat! It is used in electrical devices and automobiles.

"Silicone glass laminate" is one of the FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) materials. It excels in heat resistance, cold resistance, non-combustibility, water resistance, and electrical insulation, and is particularly effective in arc resistance, making it suitable for use as an insulating material. Additionally, in terms of electrical properties, it has a small change in insulation resistance value due to temperature variations and excellent high-frequency characteristics, allowing it to be used in heat-generating areas. [Advantages/Merits (excerpt)] ■ Heat resistance ■ Cold resistance ■ Non-combustibility ■ Water resistance ■ High electrical insulation, used as H-class insulating material *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Nicolite® NL-EG (equivalent to EL-GEM, Nikko Chemical)

Standard grade glass epoxy laminate (equivalent to EL-GEM, equivalent to G-10)

In general, epoxy resins have good insulation properties, moisture resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and adhesion, and they are particularly excellent in alkali resistance. Products with glass cloth substrates include standard types (G-10), flame-retardant types (FR-4), and heat-resistant types (G-11), all of which excel in mechanical strength, electrical properties, low water absorption, and chemical resistance. This case introduces Nikolite® NL-EG manufactured by Nikko Chemical Co., Ltd. It is a standard epoxy glass insulating material, equivalent to the JIS standard EL-GEM, and corresponds to general products (G-10). Applications include "terminal boards, insulating washers, heavy electrical equipment, and communication devices." Meisei Electric provides one-stop solutions from material selection and procurement of thermosetting resins, including glass epoxy, and engineering plastics, to various processing such as cutting, molding, polishing, bending, and adhesion. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to consult with us.
